What does EDT involve
The EDT course consists of 12 classes, each of them lasting for one hour. Each lesson teaches basic driving skills while improving the student's overall driving skills through practice.
Upon the completion of every class, the ADI will sign the logbook to keep track of your progress.
Students are also recommended to have a sponsor. The sponsor should be an experienced driver. A sponsor is often either a family member or a friend. The sponsor will supervise the student's driving activity in-between the lessons. This private driving activity will also be recorded in the logbook.
Some students need extra lessons to improve their driving after they finish EDT. You should practice your driving whenever you have the time, as this will greatly improve your driving skills.
Remember to bring your logbook with you when you take the driver's test. Some examiners require this logbook.
